Summer holiday has come,I got up very early today.Because the early bird catches the worm.If I do something early or before others,I will have more chances to succeed.So I keep reading books for a whole day.I never fail to enjoy reading books. Books can pen the way into my mind and heart.Even though I never set foot on a ship or a plane, I can be an armchair tourist through books.A book holds a house of gold.Life is limited, but there is no limit to learning.Remember:It's never to late to learn,no matter how old you are.Come to join me quickly!

假期的一天 A Day During My Holiday
Yesterday was the Chinese Spring Festival. To celebrate this occasion, all the Chinese
through out the country would enjoy a seven-day public holiday.
Early in the morning yesterday, I was woken up by the loud explosions of firecrackers
coming from afar. I stayed very late last
night, because I played cards with my schoolmates until midnight.
After getting up, I went out of my resident building to set off some
fireworks to greet the coming of the Chinese Spring Festival. Later
our neighbors also came to join me in the New Year celebration activities.
By the time the sun rose up in the east, the air was full of the smell
of gunpowder. I suddenly realized that the air was heavily polluted,
for which I felt sorry but it was really a great fun!
When I came back to my flat, the delicious dumplings were served on
the table. While eating, my Grandpa who I always respect so much, gave
me a red envelop inside which a sum of 2,000 yuan was enclosed and offered to me as
the gift money.
After breakfast, I put on my new clothes and went out of home to find
my schoolmates to play again. I felt happy and gay through out the whole day.
