I was happy to hear from you and now I am writing to tell you something about the selective courses that we took when we were in Senior Grade Two.
The school provided many selective courses for us to choose from. In my case, I chose Photography and Badminton. The reason why I chose Photography is that I liked taking photos and that I wanted to learn how to take good pictures. In fact I learned a lot in this course and have begun to take better pictures now, o of which were awarded by the school last term. I took badminton class mainly because it was an easy form of exercise, which would benefit my physical health a lot. The badminton course taught me the basic skills as well as the rules of this game and I believe that I will be a better player with more practice. In a word, the selective courses have added to the enjoyment of our school life.

She always worked hard, and she never gave up. So at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, she won the gold medal of Women's Singles. It was the hundredth gold medal that China got at the Olympic Games. Before this, she and Wang Nan won a gold medal together. She was the third player who obtained o gold medals at the same Olympics in ping-pong.
