1，phrasal verbs短语动词：A phrasal verb is a verb plus a preposition or adverb which creates a meaning different from the original verb. 及物或不及物动词与名词，介词，副词等构成的新短语，新短语的意思不同于原动词，牛津词典里面用PHR表示，
例如：I ran into my teacher at the movies last night. run + into = meet.
He ran away when he was 15. run + away = leave home
还有的短语动词如come across, take over,take in, bring up....
2，verb phrase动词短语： A phrase consisting of a verb, its auxiliaries, its complements, and other modifiers, as should be done with the exam by noon in the sentence The students should be done with the exam by noon. 一般情况下动词会搭配副词，介词，但并不构成新词组。
例如：he takes the girl in 他带女孩进了房间。这里面in只表示一个方向，可以翻译为里面，take为
谓语，意思没有发生变化。
she took me in completely with her story.他的一番花言巧语完全把我蒙骗了。take及物动词
加介词in构成新短语，take sb. in /take in sb.意思为欺骗，蒙骗。
