英语句子看不懂，求解释

Question

1） it does not matter the least.
→ dose 可以换成其他助动词吗？
→ 为什么使用the least 来形容？

2）there appers to be a mistake.
→ 整句句子理解不了
→既然已经发生了，为什么appears 是现在式

3）what is he but an ordinary man?
→ but 在句子里面是肿么了？

1.打字注意点，错误应该是in the least，你那句话就是错误的本身
it doesnt matter就是固定搭配记住
not in the least（bit)=not at all一点也不
It does not matter in the least(这个一点也不要紧）
I'm not in the lesat bit worried(我一点也不担心）

2.There be句型中的动词变化
There be句型中的be还可换为其它动词，如stand, lie, live, appear等，从而使语言更加生动形象。
你根本没有理解there be句型，应该加强下基础，多看看there be的结构打配合例题

3.你把but想复杂了，除了表示但是还有就是最基本的作连词，可以连接两个并列成分或两个并列分句，意为“但是，然而”。如：
　　He is young but very experienced.
　　他虽然年轻，但很有经验。
　　Mary likes classical music, but her husband likes rock music.
　　玛丽喜欢古典音乐，而她的丈夫却喜欢摇滚乐。
这句话你尝试这样认为he is XXXbut he is an ordinary man？XXX划线提问，这样你就应该明白了。
