1. A visit to the zoo.
went to the zoo with my friends last Sunday. It was hot and sunny that day. It took us about two hours to get there by bus. There were thousands of people in the zoo. We saw lots of animals, such as, pandas, kangaroos, polar bears, gifaffes, elephants, tigers, wolves, snakes and so on. We also saw the elephant show. The elephants were so clever that they could do lots of things like us. At noon we had a picnic in the zoo. And then we thew the rubbish into the dustbin. We didn't go home until 5:00 in the afternoon. Although we were tired, we felt happy.
How are things going. Now let me tell you something about my trip to the Great Wall. I went to the Great Wall with my friends Li Leilast Sunday. It took us about an hour to get there by bus. It was hot and sunny that day. There were thousands of people on the wall. We walked on the wall about two hours. We met a group of foreigner and talked with them in English. I bought a book about the Great wall and my friend bought a pair of sunglasses. We ate our lunch at a restaurent. We didn't go home until 3:00 in the afternoon. Although we were tired, we felt very happy.

Li Ming's hometown has changed a lot. It used to be a small town with narrow road and there used to be small shops. There weren't any theatres and stadiums before. People had a hard life. But now the road is becoimg wider and wider, people have more convinient transport and it is easy for them to go anywhere. There are lots of big sh
