In comparinson with Christmas in China which have lost its original meaning(失去它原有的意义)/ lose its original characteristics(这个意思是失去它本来的特色,本人认为这个的形容会更贴切),Christmas in America and other countries is treated as The Spring Festival which is a family celebration ,and nobody could be find in the street, it's very quiet but warm and cosy. However, in China , Chritsmas turned out to be a tool of the commercial hype, an excuse to participate in a party all night and even a reason for raising the price of those restaurants.

In China,Christmas loses its significance.
In America and other countries, Christmas is treated just as China's Spring Festival. On that day, each member of a family comes together. You can't find people in any roads or shops. It will be quiet and warm.
However in China, Christmas has been a festival for business speculation, an excuse for the youngs coming back late, an excuse for reaturants to raise prices.

The Xmas has lost its real meaning in China. In the USA and other countries, the Xmas like the Chinese New Year, is a family reunion day. There are few people in shops and streets. It is a peaceful and warm festivel. But In China, Christmas has become a business tool to make profits, an excuse for young people staying in a celebrating party overnight. Particularly it becomes a reason for restaurants to raise their foods prices.本回答被网友采纳
