朱曼华英译唐诗选:
Spring Morning
Meng Haoran (689-740)
Asleep, senseless of spring morning
I heard birds everywhere singing.
The stormy night made so much noise,
How many flowers dropped, who knows?

(一)
I awake light-hearted this morning of Spring,
Everywhere round me the singing of birds;
But now I remember the night, the storm,
And I wonder how many blossoms were broken.
(二)
I wake up at the dawn of Spring,
And hear the birds ev'rywhere sing.
As sounded the wind and rain o'ernight,
I wonder how many blooms alight.
(三)
The Spring Dawn
Slumbering I know not the spring dawn is peeping,
But everywhere the singing birds are cheeping.
Last night I heard the rain dripping and the wind weeping,
How many petals are now on the ground sleeping?
