问的是what(什么衣服?),简略回答可以是“连衣裙”,但这时是可数名词,应说:A
dress
不应是Dress!
2.
回答中的Dress似乎是动词。但它作及物动词时,后跟人作宾语:dress
sb.
/onself
所以不能理解它为动词。

出题者难道是将Dress当成不可数名词来看了?
查《牛津》:dress
