one指前面提到的一类事物中的任意一个。I have many friends, but I can't find one when I was in trouble. 这句中 one 指的是前面many friends 中的任何一个。
it 就是前面说的那一个。 I have a dog , it is my best friend. 这句中it 就是指前面的那只dog.
that 指前面提到的一类事物中特定的某一个，或不可数名词。The population in China is larger than that in Japan.这句中that 和前面的population 是同类，但特指是日本的人口。
