at the beginning of 和at the start of的区别

区别不太大，begin与start在很多场合下是一样的意思，如： We started/began to study English two years ago.
但在如下场合则不能用begin:
① 作为"启程"讲，如： I think we ought to start at six.
② 表示"开始工作"，如： The car won't start. (车子发动不起来。)
③ 作为"开动"、"启动"讲，如： Do you know how to start this machine.
这两个动词,都有"开始"之意,在一般情况下可互换使用。一般情况下，at the beginning后加of，但偶尔也可以单独使用。
