A girl complained to her father about her hard life. She didn"t know what she hadto do and wanted to give up. She felt tired for fighting and fighting. One problem had been finished but another came.
Her father, a cook, took her to the kitchen. He filled 3 pots (锅) with water and placed each on the cooker.Soon，the water in the pots came to a boil .In the first one，father put some carrots, in the second one， he put some eggs and in the last he put some coffee beans. He let them boiled，without any words.
The girl waited impatiently, wondering her father was doing that. After about 20 minutes, her father turned off the cooker, took out the carrots and put them in a bowl. He took out the eggs and put them in another bowl. After that he poured coffee into a cup. Turning back to his daughter, he asked, "What do you see ?"
"Carrots, eggs and coffee," she answered.
He brought her closer and asked her to touch the carrots. She noted that the carrots were soft. After that he asked her to take an eggs and break it. After she peeling off its shell，she saw a hard-boiled egg.Finally ，the father asked her to taste the coffee. She smiled，as she enjoyed its rich taste.
