March 8 is the international working women's day, also known as 38 days, women's day and 38 International Women's day.

It is a day for women all over the world to strive for peace, equality and development. Over the past century, women of all countries have made unremitting efforts to fight for their rights.

On March 8, 1909, women workers in Chicago, Illinois, and workers in the national textile and clothing industry held a large-scale strike and demonstration, demanding higher wages, eight hour work and the right to vote.

This is the first organized mass struggle of working women in history, which fully shows the strength of working women. The struggle was widely sympathized and warmly responded by the women of the whole country and even other countries in the world, and finally won the victory.
