Holidays are fantastic.i love holidays because i don't need to get up early in the morning and face a huge amount of homework but to lie in instead. Mum and dad are not staying at home very often, so that i can do whatever i want during holidays. I can organize my timetable and have some free time to play with my friends, such as singing,shopping and playing ball games.

I went hiking to a mountain with my friends last summer. It was a good trip at the beginning but something unexpected happened on the half way. One of my friends suddenly felt a terrible pain in his stomach and he couldn't move any further. Nobody knew what to do. One girl tried to call her mum with her mobile phone but there was no signal in the mountain area. Luckily we brought a tent with us. We put it up and let him rest in it. He took some medicine. Then he drank some water, and ate some food. After a while, he felt much better and we walked on. We all enjoyed ourselves on the top of the mountain.

A Guide Dog
A guide dog is a dog especially trained to guide a blind person. Dogs chosen for such training must show good disposition, intelligence, physical fitness and sense of responsibility.
At the age of fourteen months, a guide dog begins an intensive course that lasts three to five months. It becomes accustomed to the leather harness and stiff leather handle it will wear when guiding its blind owner. The dog learns to watch the traffic and to cross the street safely. It also learns to obey such commands as "forward", "left", "right" and "sit" and to disobey any command that might lead its owner into danger.
The most important part of the training course is a fourweek program in which the dog and its future owner learn to work together. However, many blind people are unsuited by personality to work with dogs. Only a tenth of the blind find a guide dog useful.

We have only one earth ,so it is important to protect the environment. First, we should live a low-carbon life, we'd better travel by bike or on foot instead of taking a car. We should take a bag with us when we go shopping instead of using plastic bags. We'd better not waste electricity,paper and so on. Secondly, we shouldn't spit in public or litter things. We should put the rubbish into the dustbin. We'd better plant more trees, grass and flowers instead of cutting down the trees. I believe if everyone makes a contribution to the environment, our world will become more and more beautiful.
