英语 句子成分和时态分析

小弟英语基础比较差，向各位大侠求教，以下几个句子的句子成分分析和时态分析（出自新概念英语2），越详细越好，先谢过，再给悬赏。具体句子如下：
Yesterday afternoon Frank Hawkins was telling me about his experiences as a young man.
Before he retired, Frank was the head of a very large business company, I
t was his job to repair bicycles and at that time he used to work fourteen hours a day.
In his twenties Frank used to make spare parts for aeroplanes.
In a few years the small workshop had become a large factory which employed seven hundred and twenty-eight people.

这里面 讲的是 Frank 的创业奋斗史，was telling 不过去进行时。。因为是Yesterday afternoon
说的

Frank was the head of 。。。。was 过去是负责人 现在不是了，因为retired

It was his job to repair bicycles.. 用was 因为说的是过去 to repair 不定式所以用原形
at that time he used to work 在那个时候 表示过去 所以用 used ; used to 也是过去的意思+动词原型

had become 完成时 因为发生在过去，所以用过去完成时。 由小车间变成大工厂

Yesterday afternoon；at that time ；In a few years 时间状语的位置用法

was telling 过去进行时 about 介词+名词 关于
as 介词 +N
before 连词+句子。retire 不及物动词，所以后面没有宾语
the head of +单位 单位负责人
