【含义】
hurt与hurts是一个动词的俩种形式。
hurt用在一般现在时的非第三人称主语后边，或者用在过去时中。
而hurts用在一般现在时的第三人称主语后边。hurt作为动词，直接说my leg hurts，是我腿疼的意思。hurt作为形容词，说腿受伤了就是my leg is hurt。
【用法】
hurt作“伤害”解时是及物动词，后接名词或代词作宾语。可用于被动结构。hurt作“疼痛”解时是不及物动词，特指人身体某部位的疼痛。hurt指身体上的伤害时，其程度可以用 slightly，badly等修饰。但如指精神上的创伤，则常与 very，very much，rather等搭配。
hurts：What hurts most is the betrayal.最让人伤心的是背叛。
