J-1 VISA：J-1签证是一种非移民签证，签发给来美国参加美国国务院批准的“交流访问者计划（Exchange-Visitor Programs）的各类外籍人士。 1、J-1签证有多种类别，各类J-1签证持有人可以在美国停留的时间也各不相同，从6个月至5年不等。 2、中国公民持J1签证访美，签证到期后必须回国服务两年。也就是说回国后要两年不能再因私出国。如果必须因公出国要提交国家备案，申请豁免。 申请J-1签证（美国的好多博士后也是J-1签证）的一些流程及注意事项，以下分为四个部分介绍： Part 1 : 取得邀请函、登入 webform 系_，SEVIS number，取得 DS-2019 Part 2 : _交 SEVIS I-901 _用、填写 DS-160 表格、预约 J-1 签证面试 Part 3 : 签证面_、机票及住宿 Part 4 : 到 学校 後的手_及其他 首先，学术访问的话要取得国外导师的同意，或者博士后在拿到offer之后。然后，就可以开始申请了。 一般对方学院都有两名工作人员负责对接（主要是通过邮件），一位（小A）负责学院里面的注册，一位（小B）来自于签证中心负责DS2019。以我为例，首先对方会发一个international visiting scholar questionnaire。需要填写一些基本信息：对方导师名字，访问学者的名字，性别，邮箱，职业和护照信息（护照有效时间），和一些基本的学术信息，例如有没有上过医学院等等。 Part 1 : 取得邀请函、登入 webform 系_，SEVIS number， 取得 DS-2019， (大_一_多月) 邀请函或offer letter是电子版的，邮件收到即可。 webform 系_，小A会给在系统里你创建一个账号（例如）： Full Name: Li， Dazhu Username: LI1116666 Password: ead8888 然后需要你登录账号填写webform，把文件扫描发给小A。 The following information includes instructions on 1) collecting the supporting documentation and 2) filling out a visa registration webform.
