用法主要有：
一、make用作及物动词，后面接宾语或双宾语，意为“做”、“制作”“制造”。如：
1、make sth.（制造某物）

2、make sb. sth.=make sth for sb.（为某人制造某物）

二、make用作及物动词，后面可接宾语补足语（名词、形容词、过去分词、不带to的动词不定式），一般用于“make+宾语+宾补”这种结构，意为“使（得）……”。如：
1、make+宾语+名词（使……成为）
They all want to make Jim their monitor. （名词）他们都想让吉姆当班长。
The Statue is almost 45 meters high--- this makes it one of the biggest statues in the world.
2、make+宾语+形容词（使……怎么样）
The news made him happy. 这个消息使他很高兴。
Life here makes me happy.
在此句型中，通常用it作形式宾语，而动词不定式或从句才是真正的宾语，而且要后置。例如：
