一道初二英语语法单选，求高人正解。before

填so 还是because? 我想知道before意思为“才”的用法。一定要not before 才是“才”吗？

那么根据逻辑，肯定是“因为”我实在是太饿了
所以是填because

如果是so "所以"
可以表达成类似这样的---- I didn't eat anything before you got here , so I was terribly hungry.
【在你来之前我一点东西都没有吃，所以现在饿得很。】

2.个人感觉，一般before都是直接翻译成“在。。。。之前”的
如果这道题，一定要用上“才”的话，可以理解成---------
我并没有等你来了“才”开始吃东西。【言下之意就是我在你来之前已经开始吃东西了】
其实个人感觉直接按照字面意思翻译过来就是了， I started eating before you got here 在你到之前我已经迫不及待地开始吃了。 不过【我并没有等你来了“才”开始吃东西。】这个读上去也行。

3.至于那个 not before, 其实比较常见的是 not....until..... 直到....才....
如 He did not go to bed until his mother came home. 直到他妈妈回来了，他才上床睡觉。
如果用not before表示“才”
可以 He cannot go to bed before his mother came home. 字面翻译是 他不能在妈妈回来之前上床睡觉。 【言下之意就是 一直到他妈妈回来了他“才”能上床睡觉。】
