Don't Tell Anybody That We Saved You
There is a bad king. One day he is swimming by himself in a river.
The king is a good swimmer. But while he is in the middle of the river, he feels ill. He cries out, "Help! Help!'' At that time two farmers are working near the river. They run over, jump into the water and save him. They don't know that he is the king until he is pulled out of the water.
The king is happy, so he says to the farmers,"You save my life. Now you may ask anything, and I'll give them to you.''
One of the farmers says,"My son broke his leg last week, and he still can't walk well. Would you please send him to a good doctor?''
The king agrees. Then he speaks to the other farmer. He is old and wise. The kig asks, "And what can I do for you, old man?''
The old man thinks for some minutes and then answers,"You can do a very important thing for me.''
"What is that?'' asks the king. He thinks the old man will ask for some money, or a good job for his son.
"Don't tell anybody that we saved you,'' the old man answers.
