请教一个英语问题

我想请教一个英语问题，就是几次，和几倍的表示方法。
比如说我的食物是你的3倍。
我去美国去了4次。

三个表达倍数的结构:
(1)A is N times bigger than B.
=(2)A is (N+1) times the size of B.
=(3)A is (N+1) times as big as B.
(1)A比B大N倍
=(2)A是B的大小的N+1倍
=(3)A和B的N+1倍一样大.
eg: This rope is 3 times longger than that one.
= This rope is 4 times the length of that one.
= This rope is 4 times as long as that one.

我的食物是你的3倍。
My food is twice more than yours.
=My food is three times the amount of yours.
=My food is three times as much as yours.

次数没有特殊的表达结构。
我去美国去了4次。I have been to America four times.
*有一个关于次数的固定结构：
This/It is the first(/second/third...) time (that)sb have done sth.
这是某人第一次（/第二次/第三次...)做某事。

*考试里经常区分the first time和for the first time 这两个“第一次”的差别的区别：
the first time: 名词性质的短语，可作名词能作的成分（如：在上面的句型中作了表语）；还可用作连词，引导时间状语从句，意为“当某人第一次做某事的时候”
eg: I fell in love with her the first time I met her.第一次见到她的时候我就爱上了她。
for the first time:在句中作状语
eg: I went to the USA for the first time that spring.那年春天我第一次去美国。
I fell in love with her the first time I met her. = I fell in love with her when I met her for the first time.

用倍的一般都是比较级，句子中要用than或是as等,而次纯粹就用time.
