这道题选 B 但是这个选项好像有错误应该是“what it was that”
考察的是强调句在宾语从句中的用法。此句在从句部分强调的是主语，强调句的结构为“It is/was +被强调成分（主语，宾语，状语）+that从句”此句强调主语所以正常的句式为“It was what that made..... class earlier.”但是因为此句在整个句子中做宾语所以what在这里是引导词，此句变为"I can't remember what it was that.....class earlier." what引导宾语从句在从句中充当表语。意为: “我记不起来到底是什么让老师允许玛丽提前离开教室的。”
