意思上是一样的,但在句中的位置不尽相同：
举例说明：
He is no longer a teacher.他不再是老师了.
He is not a teacher any longer.
两个短语和no longer同义,即not…any longer和not…any more,但他们侧重的方面不同.
前者侧重时间,比如：
He doesn't live here any longer.=He no longer lives here.
他不在这儿居住了.(一个时间以前他住在这儿,过了这个时间,他就离开了.)
后者侧重程度和数量,比如：
You can't drink any more.=You can drink no more.

no longer = not …any longer
意为“不再”之意。但是在句中的位置不同。
例句：
He no longer lives here. = He doesn’t livehere any longer.
他不再住在这里了。
My daughter can finish the work by herself,because she is no longer a child.
我女儿能独自完成这项工作，因为她已不再是一个小孩子了。
注意：
no longer 多与延续性动词连用，指与过去比而不再……，经常用于现在时态中，在句子中位于行为动词之前，be动词的后面。
