therefore和so的区别有以下几种：使用场景不同、用法不同等。

so常用于口语之中，而therefore更常用于书面体等正式文体之中。
二、用法不同
so是连词，连接句子，so后不可有逗号，so前可有逗号。therefore是副词，可以放在句中，也可放在句首修饰句子。放在句首时，其后可有逗号也可无逗号。放在句中时，若作插入语，前后可有逗号。
