2022年11月7日，中国应急管理部在其官方网站上发布了一则公告：柴油现被全 classification as a hazardous chemical product, with no distinction based on flash point. This new regulation will be implemented starting January 1, 2023!
According to the "Regulations on the Safety Management of Hazardous Chemicals" (Decree No. 591 of the State Council), the Ministry of Emergency Management, together with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Ecological Environment, the Ministry of Transportation, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the National Health Commission, the State Administration for Market Regulation, the Railway Bureau, and the Civil Aviation Administration have decided to adjust the "Catalogue of Hazardous Chemicals (2015 Edition)" by changing the classification of "1674 diesel [closed cup flash point ≤60°C]" to simply "1674 diesel". The Ministry of Emergency Management will also complementarily refine the "Chemical Classification Information Table". This announcement will be effective from January 1, 2023.
