The traditional way of treat guests in China requires a great variety of foods, Which guest cannot eat up. The typical menu of Chinese banquet includes numbers of cold dishes first, followed by hot dishes such as meat, poultry, vegetables and so on. At most banquets, whole fish is considered as the essential dish, unless seafood is already served. Nowadays, Chinese like to combine western specialities with traditional Chinese dishes. It is not rare too se steak being served. Salad also becomes popular among Chinese people though traditional Chinese don't eat any food that hasn't cooked. There is usually at least one soup which can be served at the beginning or at the end of the banquet. The desserts and fruits mark the end of the banquet.
