1.May Day Long Holidays, Kept or Cancelled?
Recently, we carried out a survey on whether the May Day long holidays should be cancelled or kept by means of questionnaire. The results are as fellows:
About 24% of the surveyed people are in favour of the canceling. The defenders state that the May Day long holidays contribute to many problems. For a start, many tourists choose to travel during the long holidays; as a consequence, the traffic, whether the train or the plane, is very crowded, which, of course, brings a lot of inconveniences to the people who need to make regular trips. It is an accepted fact that every tourist attraction can only receive a certain number of visitors, but now with the tourists flowing in, the scenic spots are damaged and some cultural relics are ruined. Anyway, none of us, including the visitors, is willing to see the consequence.
However, another 76% are strongly against the canceling. May is a good time for outing and to experience spring, so people need the long holiday. No one can deny that the tourism economy is promoted, especially sales of commodity in the tourism destinations.
Maybe whether the May Day long holidays will be cancelled or kept depends on the government’s policy.
2.Dormitory life is an indispensable part of college life.But sometimes the harmony in the dormitory will be disturbed in one way or another.For example .some members listen to music laote into the night and make those light sleepers restless .Worse still,the smell of some students socks is powerful enough to drive other members out of the room.

As is known to all.a harmonious dormitory life is important to college students and benefits all the members ,On one hand .we can have a good rest and put our heart into study.On the other hand,we will have a good mood and enjoy being together .In contrast,an unharmonious life will be depressing and counterProductive.

There are servel ways to create and manitain a harmonious dormitory life.Firstly,you have to evaluate you life style and try to get rid of your dirty habits ,if there are any ,Secondly.when an annoying setuation arises ,you will just have to learn to tolerate each other and co_exist,Thirdly,you will have to share with each other and make good friends.

In conclusion,we should try our best to build a harmonious dormitory life for the sake of good study and good life

Long Holidays
In China,people have some long holidays in a year.For college students,they have more holidays,such as summer holiday and winter holiday than other people.It is true that a long holiday can do good to college students.They can have a good rest after a long period of study.They can go to travel to widen their visions.Hower,a long holiday could bring about some problems.Some students just spend the holidays on computer games,some even stay up at night.Some get hurt when going out for fun.So it is important to take advantage of the holidays.Student can play games from time to time but should not be addicated to them.They are supposed to use the holidays for rest and do some enjoyalbe reading.

A Harmonious Dormitory Life
Chinese college students live together when they are going to school.Usually a few of them share a dormitory in school.So it is quite important to create a harmonious dormitory life.Most students can get on well with their roommates,while some of them can't.Some may quarrel with others,or even beat others.In my opinion,being modest and showing respect to others is necessary for a harmonious dormitory life.Students are supposed to help each other and be honest too.
