Abstract: The traditional mode of line maintenance not only causes a great waste in human and material resources, but also declines the reliability of power grids. It is necessary to break such a maintenance mode and carry out the PDM. The key of the PDM is to determine the various projects and maintenance schedule with a variety of advanced technological means. This article focuses on the use of PDM status quo in Zhongshan Power Supply Bureau. And the Development trend of the PDM is predicted scientifically.

It is therefore necessary to break such a maintenance mode, to carry out condition-based maintenance. To carry out condition-based maintenance, the key is the use of advanced technological means, science identified a variety of maintenance projects and time. This article focuses on Zhongshan Power Transmission Line Condition-based Maintenance of the status quo, and its development trend of scientific prediction.

Abstract: The traditional way of examining power lines not only causes a great waste in human and material resources, but also decreases the reliability of power-net. Therefore, it is necessary to abandon this kind of examination mode and carry out the inspection for the present state. The key to take this kind of examination into effect is to make good use of every advanced technology, scientifically establish all the items and times of inspection. The thesis is mainly focused on the present stage and trend of development for electric transmission line‘s examination and mending, and make a scientific prediction for this trend of development.
