China is a country of vast territory and abundant resources, which located in the eastern part of Eurasia an west bank of the Pacific. It has abundant diet culture in different place. South Korea, which located in the southern part of the Korean Peninsula, has a long history and splendid culture. South Korean characterised by its kimchi culture, three meals a day can not be separated from kimchi. Korean traditional dishes like roast pork, kimchi, cold noodles has become a world famous.The two countries' diet culture are numerous, and each one has its own attractions, thoroughly reflect the diversity.
This thesis combined with China and South Korea's civilian diet culture and diet etiquette as to analysis the similarities and their characteristics which exist between the two countries.

South Korea is in Northeast Asia, south of Korean Peninsula. It has a long history and brilliant culture.
Kimchi is the most important part of the food culture in Korea, and Korean also cannot live without kimchi. Some of the Korean traditional dishes, such as roast pork, pickled vegetables and cold noodle, have already become shiny stars in the world. Numerous food from different countries and cultures has shown its beauty and reflected the diversity of China and Korea.
