at the market和in the market区别

我在网上找了一下，能找到的最多也就只有in the market和on the market的区别，这个区别是老师讲过的。但上学期一篇课文是at the market，而这学期一篇课文是on the market，有谁可以帮忙解释一下其中的区别呢？
